CARTER * * * * *
His hide was littered with scars from battles in years past. His blue eyes wide as he looked forward, but saw nothing. Nothing, but thick fog that covered the land like a blanket. His heavy hooves fall upon the ground, a ground lightly covered in fresh snowfall. It was mid afternoon, but he can't tell what time of day it was for the only thing that would give any insight to it being daylight was that the fog was white in coloring and the land wasn't pitch black. He moved slowly and carefully with ears perked and body slightly against the edge of the path wall. For he knew the path was narrow by the opening some ways back.
After what seemed like quiet a while the small narrow pass gave way into a large area. The fog became lighter and lighter until it was all gone. Coming to a stop he looked out over the land in front of him. Standing on a plateau he looked out at the land. Some of it was covered in snow, but there was still some green areas that could be found. It was quiet a pleasant sight to behold. As he stood there he snorted softly, his mane and tail being whipped behind him in a cold winter chill of a wind. This was the land he had been searching for. This was the land he had heard about in lore. It was Paradise for it was hidden away from man a creature who he wishes to never again see.
